ADVAYA’16, A Two Day Youth Camp

‘Advaya’16’- a two day Ayudh youth camp was organized at Mata Amritanandamayi Math, Pune on 27th and 28th February 2016. Ayudh (Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma) is the international youth movement of Mata Amritanandamayi Math. The camp was an opportunity for the youngsters to share the values, concerns, questions and challenges!. Eighty six (86) youngsters of the Ayudh core team were invited to the camp.

The Camp witnessed wide range of activities under the guidance of experts and professionals from various fields. The activities which were attractions of the Camp included Motivational talk by Dr. Vijay Bhatkar on Science and Spirituality Dr. Bhatkar-Reduce divide between Science _ Spirituality by Indian computer scientist and a Padma Shri and Padma Bhushan awardee. There was also an inspirational session by Prof. M. S. Pillai on Today’s youth tomorrow’s Nation, Founder director of SCMLD & former director of Symbiosis centre for Management.

Other programs include discourses, Leadership and Team Building activities, games, camp adventures, awareness programs, entertainments, video shows and hands on workshops on organic terrace farming and building bird houses.

In the process of playing, learning, praying and serving together, the participants grew closer to Indian culture & values, and learnt more about how to live our lives meaningfully by imbibing the eternal values that Amma lives by every day. The Ayudh team also discussed and planned the activities for one year during the camp.
