AYUDHians Celebrated International Earth Day 2021

AYUDHians Celebrated International Earth Day 2021

On the occasion of International Earth Day 2021, AYUDHians deliberated on different ways in which our Mother Earth has been harmed, what are the effects and what we can do to protect her as AYUDHians.

AYUDH chapters from Ahmedabad, Baneshwar, Bhubaneswar, Chhattisgarh, Durgapur, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune actively participated in the innovative interactive session. Each chapter did good research work in the areas of clean energy, Deforestation and bio-diversity, Environment literacy, Ocean and plastic pollution, Climate change, Protection of our species, Food waste and up-cycling etc. It was wonderful to see the creative thoughts, presentations, interactions and the quizzes.

The role play convention from Mumbai chapter using finger puppets enthralled all other participants. Each participant played a role using the suitably painted puppet and the whole of creation, Mother Earth as a witness were applauded for the out-of-the-box conceptualization.

With profound deliberation, AYUDHians suggested fruitful ways by which youth of this generation could contribute to protect Mother Earth and kicked off a nature activity to focus on tuning in with Nature!
