World Environment Day 2017 was celebrated by AYUDH Pune for propagating the message of a cleaner and greener environment. The day also marked the anniversary of AYUDH Pune’s flagship campaign ‘Haritamritam’ – a green initiative launched on 5th June 2016.
The team celebrated the day by organizing a bicycle rally to spread awareness on environmental issues and educate people about simple ideas to save the environment.The AYUDHians also organized a formal function where they showcased the success of 'Haritamritam' by presenting the activities implemented during the past one year. The chief guests for the function were Mr. Sagar Nazarkar (an eminent environmentalist), Shailaja More (Deputy Mayor of Pimpri Chinchwad Municipal Corporation). All the Ayudhians had a good experience.
