Ayudh Tamil Nadu - International Day of Human Fraternity

In connection with the United Nations International Day of Human Fraternity (4 February 2022) , AYUDH Tamil Nadu organized a virtual event that was attended by volunteers across the state.

Ms Deepthi, Associate Consultant, Tata Consultancy Services and treasurer, AYUDH Chennai took the participants through an interesting and interactive presentation titled ‘Special features of Hinduism’. The presentation was based on the book ‘The Eternal Truth’ which contains a collection of Amma's answers to questions on the principles of Sanatana Dharma.

In the book Amma says, “In Hindusim everything is God. There is nothing that is not God. According to Sanatana Dharma all religions are different pathways to the same goal...Sanatana Dharma is the comprehensive science of life management.”

“I liked the session a lot. I understood that Hinduism is not just a religion, it is a way of life that can be followed by anyone. It was nicely described by Deepthi akka,” said Karthik from Amrita Vidyalayam. Tanmay Soni from Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, Chennai Campus said, “The session was really good. It was great to learn a lot of new things about Sanatana Dharma.” “The session was really good, it will do a lot of good for me said Janani Balakrishnan from Amrita Vidyalayam Chennai Anjali M from Amrita School of Agriculture, Coimbatore, said, “I’m so proud to be part of AYUDH. I would like to thank Deepthi akka for preparing the presentation; she has taken time from her busy schedule to do this. Her hard work has paid off, we really liked the session.
