Launched by PM Narendra Modi, this massive cleanliness drive aims at making India clean with the help of local volunteers conducting awareness and cleanliness drives in nearby slum/residential areas. Delhi Chapter will be focusing on Faridabad NIT area. The program was inaugurated by the Industries and Environment Minister, Sri Vipul Goyal. He appealed to the people to keep the environment and their surrounding areas clean, so that we may prevent diseases arising out of the accumulated garbage. Through the medium of this cleaning drive, Sri Vipul Goyal gave the message that by becoming a part of the Swacchata Mission started by the Prime Minister, we are able to save many lives, who may otherwise fall prey to the dirt-borne diseases.
