Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

WorldWaterDay  is celebrated all around the globe on 22nd of March, every year. This year, the members of  AYUDH  chapter, Sankara at Raipur took an initiative to spread awareness on World water day conducting awareness campaigns, workshops, idea writing and poster competition on water conservation for the children of Shree Sankara School, Raipur.

Ayudh members has given a sessions on the importance of World water day and Global water crisis We conducted an inter-group poster making competition in which the students were asked to write ideas and to represent the topic on saving water in their daily life.

Following this there was demonstration of SIP method of small scale drip plantation that the children could practice themselves and grow samplings in the school premises and at home. Finally, the children has pasted awareness posters on the walls near the washing areas in school.

School Principal has distributed prize for the winners of poster making and the session concluded by taking a  pledge  to save even the single  dropofwater  and spreading awareness among people and to celebrate world water day every year.
