AYUDH (Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma) to observe World Car Free Day on September 23, 2017. Car Free Day is a worldwide event that encourages greener methods of travel to encourage people to use alternative modes of transport. The objective of the day is to promote the use of public transportation, car sharing and emission–free vehicles as an effort to address the crisis of environmental pollution.
The International Youth Day (2017)’s theme, YOUTH BUILDING PEACE was successfully celebrated by Ayudhians in different chapters in India. This was the first follow up activity of AYUDH Pre-National Camp Youth Meets of Phase1.
On the occasion of International Mother Earth Day AYUDH Pune chapter planted trees of native species.
AYUDH Pune celebrated this year’s World Environment Day at the Mata Amritanandamayi Math in Nigdi by propagating the message of a cleaner and greener environment. The day also marked the anniversary of AYUDH Pune’s flagship campaign ‘Haritamritam’ – A Green initiative launched on June 5, 2016.
On the occasion of the 25th Anniversary of Pune Brahmastanam Temple, AYUDH Team distributed Food among the impoverished people on the Street.
The National Pre-Camp Youth Meets were successfully conducted in Goa, Kolkata, Delhi and Dehradun. The highlights of the program were exciting games, workshops, corporate theatre, discussions and activity planning.The participants opined that the Youth Meets were a powerful learning experience presented in an entertaining and engaging manner. It helped the youth discover their hidden potentials and put them to use for serving society.
