Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

AYUDH Ahmedabad organized ASWAS to alleviate the winter hardships faced by the less fortunate. This heartfelt efforts of Winter Clothing Drive involved collecting winter garments and distributing them among the needy residents of villages staying near Shaligram Square and Thaltej Smashan, Taltej, Gujarat.

Motivated by the spirit of selfless love and seva, a diverse group of AYUDH volunteers joined together to contribute to this meaningful cause. The collected winter clothing sought to bring warmth and comfort to the lives of those facing the harsh winter conditions in Gujarat.

Keyur Tanna, Secretary, AYUDH Ahmedabad, a CA student shared his reflections on the experience, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to coordinate this collective effort that makes a positive impact in the society. He mentioned, "Being involved in ASWAS was not just about distributing clothes; it was about sharing warmth and smiles, witnessing the difference we could make in the lives of the people and it was truly fulfilling."

Meet Dixit, Vice President of AYUDH Ahmedabad from Nirma University echoed similar sentiments, stating, "The joy of giving is immeasurable, and being part of ASWAS organizing team was a heartening experience. Seeing the recipient’s happiness and knowing that we could bring some comfort to their lives made the endeavour truly worthwhile."

“Overall experience was so good. I loved to spread smiles with those unfortunate ones. AYUDH has really given a nice platform to love and serve others. It even helps me realize how small our problems are... It helps me to feel good from within, teaches the skill of giving and experience joy of giving. I love to work with AYUDH Team even in future”, said Rahi Patel from Amrita Vidyalayam, Ahmedabad.

The ASWAS initiative underscored AYUDH’S commitment to fostering positive change in the local community through acts of love and service. The collaboration of volunteers exemplifies the unity and strength found in collective efforts.
