As a part of its pilot run, the team conducted its first workshop at a society (Prempark in Pimpri, Pune) on 15th May 2016. The families in the society were cooperative, enthusiastic and indeed nature lovers. Initially a brief introduction about Ayudh and Haritamritam was orated to them proceeded by a demo on how to plant the saplings, the organic way. Post demonstration materials were distributed to the families. They were asked to fill their respective growbags (bags made from used flex in which the saplings were to be planted) under AYUDH member’s guidance.

The Ayudh Pune volunteers had set up stalls for Handicraft and T Shirt Sales during Amma’s Pune visit in March 2016. The Ayudh members made handicraft items mostly from waste material which was an innovative way to produce items from waste thus reusing and reducing the waste. This effort became a good role model for direct recycling. Another stall was set up for the sales of Ayudh T Shirts. The team has done this as fund raiser program. The money raised will be given to orphanages and old age homes.

A training on IAM Technique was conducted for Ayudh members.
