Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

AYUDH Durgapur, West Bengal celebrated Amma's 70th birthday by distributing sweets and snacks to 108 poor families in Amritakutiram, Bidhannagar. The volunteers went door to door, delivering joy to children and families. The children were especially delighted to receive the sweets on this special day. Many of the families expressed their gratitude to the AYUDH volunteers for their thoughtfulness and kindness. The event was a reminder of Amma's teachings on the importance of compassion and service to others.  

One family member shared, "We are so grateful to the AYUDH volunteers for this act of kindness. It means so much to us to know that there are people who care about us and want to make our lives better."  

This initiative had a positive impact on both the families and the volunteers. The families were able to enjoy delicious snacks and be a part of Amma's birthday celebration. And the volunteers felt immense joy spending time with new families and serving them.  

“Knowing about the challenges faced by those poor families inspired us to plan out a way to help them further. Amma always teaches her children that our highest, most important duty in this world is to help our fellow beings.” remarked the core team. 

Amma inspires us that Devotion and compassion towards the poor and the needy go hand in hand. Together we can bring change to the world.
