Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

‘ABHAAR’ - a heart-warming gratitude event was organized by AYUDH Ahmedabad to mark the grand finale of the 7-month science of spirituality course. This beautiful celebration was a heartfelt expression of thanks by AYUDHians to Amma, Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, the International President of AYUDH, Swamini Shamadamrita Prana, Brahmacharini Atmamrita ji, Ms Shital Nair, the Ashram inmates, Facilitators & Mentors, Parents, Teachers, Non-teaching staff, Amma’s devotees and all supporters & helpers who made this transformative journey possible.

The event commenced with the soulful rendition of the Guru Paduka Stotra, invoking blessings from the Guru, our most beloved AMMA and setting the tone for the event. The AYUDHians then took the stage to present everything they had learned throughout the course. Through an insightful presentation and a touching slideshow of memories, they showcased their journey of discovering Sanatana Dharma, deepening their spiritual understanding, growing as individuals.

One of the most moving moments of the evening was when the AYUDHians invited their parents onto the stage, presenting each with a flower and a handmade card to express their immense gratitude for their love and support. Following this, the Amrita vidyalayam teachers, staff and all supporters were honoured with handmade flowers and cards as a token of appreciation for their guidance and encouragement.

The gratitude extended to Swamini Shamadamrita Prana, Bramhacharini Atmamrita ji, and principal Sheetal Ma'am, without whom this course would not have been possible. Their tireless efforts in coordinating schedules and ensuring every session could happen were deeply acknowledged by the AYUDH Course Coordinators.

Adding to the joyous atmosphere, the AYUDHians performed a vibrant dance based on the GRATITUDE theme, showcasing their enthusiasm and teamwork.

The event concluded with a meaningful initiative. The AYUDHians set up a booth featuring handmade cards and handicrafts for sale. The proceeds will be used to support an orphanage they plan to visit in the upcoming months, further reflecting the values of compassion and selfless service they have imbibed during the Course on Sanatana Dharma.

As the course came to an end, the AYUDHians shared how much they have learned over the past seven months and how they are eager to apply these teachings in their lives. They felt profound sense of gratitude for this opportunity to explore Sanatana Dharma and understand its relevance in modern life. More than anything, they are eagerly awaiting their opportunity to visit Amritapuri and meet Amma, the living master who inspires them to walk this path of love and service.

ABHAAR was not just a celebration, it was a reflection of how the ‘Foundation Course of Sanatana Dharma’ has transformed these young hearts and minds. It was a day of gratitude and inspiration, a perfect ending to this spiritual journey and the beginning of a lifelong one.
