AYUDH Bhubaneswar Celebrates Amma's 70th Birthday
AYUDH Bhubaneswar celebrates Amma's 70th Birthday with the children at Jeevan Jyoti Ashram Orphanage in Khandagiri, spreading joy and laughter. They offered delicious food and spent quality time with them, spreading joy and laughter. This was a loving tribute to Amma, who has always taught us to serve those in need.
The initiative has a number of positive benefits for the children, including increased happiness and well-being, a sense of community and belonging, and positive role modeling.
The children were delighted to receive a special treat on Amma's birthday. Children felt happy spending time with volunteers and were inspired by their teaching. Children were happy to interact with the young volunteers and share their life experiences and what they aim in life to be when they grow up. The staff of the ashram talked about their children's needs. This love and compassion gave the children hope, reminding them that they were not alone and that there were people who cared about them.
This initiative was inspired by Amma's saying, "Love is our true essence. Love has no limitations of caste, religion, race, or nationality. We are all beads strung together on the same thread of love. To awaken this unity and to spread to others the love that is our inherent nature is the true goal of human life."
A volunteer shared, “It was so rewarding to spend Amma's birthday with the children. They were so happy and enthusiastic, and it was a joy to see them having so much fun. I was also impressed by their resilience and strength in the face of adversity. I'm grateful for the opportunity to have served them, and I hope to continue to do so in the future.”
