Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

AYUDH Jaipur celebrated 'Amritavarsham 69' in an unforgettable manner with the children of Aashray Care Home. It was a heart touching experience for AYUDHians at Jaipur. The youth visited Aashray Care Home, a local orphanage. The care home housed offspring of parents who had passed on due to AIDS. The children living there were especially ostracized and neglected. AYUDH members organized games, cultural programmes, distributed lunch & sweets and also shared Amma's videos and stories with the children. Hearing about Amma and seeing Amma’s visuals were so soothing and heartening for them and they all expressed their wish to meet Amma. During the visit, some children said, this was the first time they received so much love from the visitors and they are so grateful to AYUDH members. This comment touched the AYUDHians deeply. Laughing and playing with the children made them reconnect with their inner child and they felt so peaceful and happy after the visit. The AYUDHians pledged to do this more often and to bring more of their friends to experience what they had experienced.
“We never experienced so much joy in our lives. We saw small children here who do not even know that there are comfortable and secured lives and family system in the world where children live with the affectionate parents. We are so touched by seeing these kids... This was also a reminder for us that how fortunate we are and we should never complaint for anything in life. We believe, sharing joy and caring these kids will be the best Birthday Gift for our beloved Amma. Proud to be part of AYUDH”, said AYUDH members from Jaipur.
