AYUDH Kolkata Welcomes New Members with an Enriching Get-Together
Kolkata recently witnessed the magic of unity as new AYUDHians from various institutions came together for a special get-together event. Participants shared, “Being part of AYUDH Kolkata is an enriching experience, offering valuable insights that extend beyond the event itself.”
The event embraced the essence of #AYUDH, fostering group interactions and focusing on practical learning experiences. AYUDHians showcased real-life scenarios that demonstrated the importance of fundamental qualities that every AYUDHian should embody—Acceptance, Youthfulness, Understanding, Determination, and Humility.
Team-building activities and games not only created connections but symbolized the collective impact that can be achieved when working together. A moment of serenity was added with a short meditation session, offering a mindful pause in the midst of busy lives. And of course, the day was made complete with delicious refreshments.
Anwesha Mukherjee, Coordinator of AYUDH Kolkata Chapter, shared, “From the time I joined AYUDH till now, every session has motivated and uplifted my consciousness towards the self and God. The diversity of activities, from group discussions and skits to the engaging games and meditation, created a perfect balance of self-observation and togetherness. I was happy to see the enthusiasm of the youngsters and newcomers. The session was both meaningful and peaceful, and I left with a renewed sense of energy and purpose.”
New member Dibyanka Keshri from Class 9th of Amrita Vidyalayam reflected, “Today’s session helped me take a good look at myself without judgment. I have learned and practiced the values that AYUDH embodies, and I feel so happy working as part of this team. AYUDH Kolkata feels like a big family where we all support each other and serve humanity as per Amma’s wish.”
Divyansh Agarwal, Anushka Yadav, and Sukanya Gharai echoed these sentiments, expressing how the activities brought them peace and strength, while the meditation left them feeling refreshed. They were all excited to continue attending future sessions and to remain part of the AYUDH team.
The get-together was a journey of self-discovery, meaningful connections, and the commitment to making a positive impact.
