AYUDH Mumbai Hosts 'Spirituality for Youth' Workshop at Nagindas Khandwala College

An interactive workshop titled 'Spirituality for Youth' was recently held for the registered members of AYUDH from Nagindas Khandwala College in Mumbai. The session, led by Bri Amritatmika Chaitanya from the AYUDH National Coordination Team and Ms. Amrita Sinha, Senior Program Coordinator from the Office of Youth Empowerment at Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham, aimed to address the unique challenges faced by today's youth, helping them redefine success and uncover the deeper purpose of life.

In this engaging workshop, participants delved into discussions on how spirituality can shape the lives of young people. They reflected on how spiritual practices foster inner peace and a profound sense of connection to a higher power, offering them a meaningful way to navigate the complexities of the modern world.

Interactive sessions guided participants to redefine their idea of success, encouraging them to align their goals and aspirations with their values and passions. The workshop also featured the practice of Ma-Om Meditation and prayers for world peace—a simple yet powerful spiritual exercise designed by Amma to enhance well-being and unlock one's inner potential.

Amma’s teachings on youth empowerment were central to the session, as she states, "If our youth arise and act, they have the strength and vigour to create a huge transformation in society. Only through awakening the inner power dormant within us will there be true transformation and a permanent solution to the problems facing society.”

Through self-transformation and service to others, AYUDH motivates young people to lead lives filled with purpose and contribute positively to society. As one participant remarked, “AYUDH is a unique platform that empowers the youth to make meaningful contributions to society while fostering inner growth and a deep sense of interconnectedness with the people around them. We are so happy and inspired to hear about Amma’s vision and messages, and we are eager to meet Amma.”

With the call to "Awaken Youth, Unite for Dharma," AYUDH continues to inspire youth to come together, grow spiritually, and make a lasting difference in society.
