AYUDH Pune Celebrated Amma's 68th Birthday

AYUDH Pune Celebrated Amma's 68th Birthday

'ARPAN' by AYUDH Pune was offered yesterday, on Amma's star Birthday. Though it was highly challenging to go out and do any activity during the pandemic, AYUDHians at Pune decided to do some seva that Amma has been emphasizing on. Amma says "The pandemic is a warning from Nature to treat her with respect". Since the beginning of COVID-19, AYUDHians have taken this message to their heart and tried to do their part to reverse the impact of man's actions on our planet by planting trees. This year, on the occasion of Amma's 68th birthday, AYUDH Pune continued their yearly ARPAN project (converting a barren land to mini forest) by planting 68 trees to commemorate the event and as a mark of respect to Mother Nature. The barren land that they are cultivating will soon become a small forest ecosystem that also supports animal life. Due to the COVID-19 protocols, there was restrictions in the count, only few members could participate and the remaining members would do the plantation in their respective places. The AYUDHians had to travel individually to Baner, the event venue to plant the trees but did not feel the stress of facing obstacles due to their love for their goal. We wish them every success in all their noble efforts!

"We are extremely happy that we could do this seva on Karthika Day which is Amma's star Birthday. Amma has been repeatedly asking us to perform activities in tune with Nature. We believe, this is the best gift that we can offer Amma on Her Birthday", remarked all the participants.
