AYUDH Volunteers At Jaipur Celebrated Amma's 70th Birthday

AYUDH volunteers at Jaipur celebrated Amma's 70th birthday with the children of Seva Bharati Bal Vidyalay Orphanage. AYUDHians prepared and distributed delicious food to the children and conducted fun activities to get closer to children’s hearts. Amma says that if you are able to remove someone’s sorrow, even for a second you receive life’s blessings! Inspired by Amma, AYUDHians are committed to selfless service.

One girl in the Orphanage shared her beliefs about the world and what she wants to become in life to become independent and build a home for herself. Children felt happy spending time with volunteers and were inspired by their teaching. They were very glad to open up to young people and ask them questions about the world outside. This love and compassion gave the children hope, reminding them that they were not alone and that there were people who cared about them.

The children were delighted to receive a special treat on Amma's birthday, they played games, had snacks, danced and enjoyed interacting with AYUDHians. The initiative has a number of positive benefits for the children, including increased happiness and well-being, a sense of community and belonging, and positive role modeling.

AYUDH volunteers said sharing their joy, that these children aim to do so much in life, and this made them realize that they have the power to make a difference in the lives of these vulnerable children.

Even a small act of kindness can make a big difference in the lives of others!
