C20 Samajshala event organized by the AYUDH National Coordination Team

KIIT University students at Bhubaneswar participated in the #C20 #samajshala event organized by the AYUDH National Coordination Team in the KIIT campus. Dr. Shyam Sundar Behura, Deputy Director, Student Services and head of the KIIT Student Activity Centre spoke about the loving relation that KIIT has with Amrita University. He also appreciated the students for their interest to contribute towards C20 programs and motivated the students to take part in AYUDH initiatives in future too.
The program aimed to raise awareness about the C20 opportunities for Youth and AYUDH Initiatives. The program started with an introduction about AYUDH and its initiatives. AYUDH is a youth movement initiated by the Mata Amritanandamayi Math, aimed at empowering the youth to become leaders who can create a positive impact on society. The organization's vision is to create a world where every individual lives in harmony with nature and with one another.
The AYUDH National Coordination Team explained the C20 Challenges announced by C20 Amrita Working Groups and how they can benefit the youth. The C20 is the civil society engagement group of the G20, aimed at bringing together organizations and individuals to provide policy recommendations to the G20 leaders. The C20 offers various opportunities for young people to get involved, such as policy advocacy, research, and networking.
During the program, registration for the upcoming Youth Leadership Workshop was also open. The workshop aims to provide a platform for young leaders to hone their leadership skills and gain knowledge about global issues.
“Overall, the C20 orientation program was a great initiative taken by AYUDH to raise awareness about the C20 opportunities and inspire young people to become leaders who can create a positive impact on society. AYUDH is a great platform for the youth to learn and network with like-minded individuals who are passionate about creating a better world”, remarked the participants.
