Day 1 of AYUDH Self-Management Internship Programme (ASIP) Kicks Off with Learning and Introspection in Mumbai

Day 1 of the AYUDH Self-Management Internship Programme (ASIP) in Mumbai was an enriching blend of learning, introspection, and hands-on activities. The day began with participants lighting lamps individually, symbolizing the illumination of knowledge and wisdom to dispel darkness and inspire continuous upward growth in their lives. This was followed by a fun and engaging ice-breaker game that fostered teamwork and camaraderie among the participants.

The highlight of the day was a presentation that brought real-life scenarios from the Bhagavad Gita into focus, offering practical insights and wisdom for overcoming everyday challenges. Participants also gained a deeper understanding of the symbolism behind image worship and the cultural significance of festivals in Sanatana Dharma, enriching their knowledge of traditions, rituals, and practices. The program was led by Brahmacharini Amritatmika Chaitanya and Brahmacharini Niseema from the AYUDH National Coordination Team.

A hands-on paper recycling workshop, conducted by Ms. Amrita Sinha from the Office of Youth Empowerment at Amrita University, encouraged participants to explore the relationship between humans and nature, promoting sustainable practices and environmental consciousness. Additionally, a quiz on Sanatana Dharma added an interactive learning element, allowing participants to engage in knowledge-sharing.

Reflecting on the day, Mr. Soham Saindane, AYUDH Team Lead, shared, "Day 1 of ASIP has been incredibly insightful and enriching. The activities and workshops have deepened my understanding of Sanatana Dharma, our cultural heritage, environmental responsibility, and inner growth. I look forward to the rest of the program and the positive impact it will have on my journey with AYUDH."

Day 1's learnings left participants eager for the upcoming sessions, as they returned home with great anticipation for the next day of the ASIP program.
