Day 2 of AYUDH Self-Management Internship Program (ASIP) in Mumbai: A Journey of Unity, Spiritual Wisdom, and Inner Growth
Day 2 of the AYUDH Self-Management Internship Program (ASIP) in Mumbai unfolded with a focus on fostering inner growth, unity, and spiritual wisdom. The morning began with an empowering session of Integrated Amrita Meditation (IAM), guided by Amma's timeless teachings. As Amma beautifully says, "Meditation is the journey from sound to silence, from movement to stillness, from a limited identity to unlimited space." This session set a contemplative tone, helping participants delve deeper into their spiritual journey.
Following this, the participants engaged in a lively balloon game, which underscored the importance of unity and collective effort. The activity highlighted how working together towards common goals strengthens bonds and reinforces mutual support within the AYUDH community.
The day continued with a thought-provoking session on "Science and Spirituality" by Dr. Pallavi Krishnamurthy, a research fellow at DRDO. Dr. Krishnamurthy, who completed her PhD and higher studies at IIT Mumbai and Wesley College in Australia, shared insights on how modern scientific advancements intersect with ancient spiritual wisdom, offering a fresh perspective on bridging these two realms.
A heartwarming moment during the day saw participants come together to sing, "We are all beads strung on the same thread," symbolizing interconnectedness and a shared journey toward spiritual awakening.
The day concluded with a captivating skit showcasing real-life experiences of Amma's devotees. These stories of love, compassion, and transformation left a deep impression on the participants, inspiring them to embrace the values of selflessness and devotion in their own lives.
