"Jyotirgamaya: AYUDH Ahmedabad Introduces Young Minds to the Wisdom of Sanatana Dharma"

'Jyotirgamaya', a workshop on the practices, images, symbols and festivals of Sanatana Dharma, was conducted by the AYUDH Ahmedabad team for their juniors, aged 11 to 13, as part of the Foundation Course on Sanatana Dharma.

Serving as resource persons, the workshop preparations and presentations enhanced knowledge and confidence of AYUDH members while providing the satisfaction of sharing their knowledge with others. By sharing their insights, AYUDHians have encouraged their younger peers to embrace the timeless wisdom of Sanatana Dharma.

The Highlights of the Workshop included presentations by AYUDH members which creatively incorporated props, quizzes, games, songs and videos to make learning both interactive and enjoyable.

Participants were charmed by a soulful Saraswati worship Dance and a lively game & quiz session, which added an experiential dimension to the event.

The topics covered, emphasized the uniqueness of Sanatana Dharma, the science and significance of image worship and shed light on the significance of various festivals and their spiritual relevance. In addition, participants gained insights into the meanings behind symbols in Sanatana Dharma highlighting the depth of practices often performed without understanding their true significance.

Ms Anvi Solanki, the workshop participant said, "The workshop conducted by AYUDH was so much fun! I never knew there were so many stories and meanings behind our traditional practices and festivals we celebrate and the symbols we see every day. I really want to learn more about our culture now!"

Ms Monal Garai, Team Lead, AYUDH Ahmedabad remarked, “Organizing Jyotirgamaya was truly importance for us as a team. While preparing for the workshop, we deepened our own understanding of Sanatana Dharma, and seeing the younger participants so eager and engaged made all the effort worthwhile.”

The Jyotirgamaya workshop inspired many young minds to appreciate and explore their own cultural heritage with curiosity and pride, encouraging a journey of self-discovery rooted in the profound wisdom of Sanatana Dharma.
