Safe and Brave Online Campaign at Rajasthan

Safe and Brave Online Campaign at Rajasthan

In a proactive step towards empowering students to navigate digital platforms with confidence and safety, Maheshwari Public School, Kalwar Road, Rajasthan, has wholeheartedly embraced the Civil20 Safe and Brave Online campaign in collaboration with AYUDH India. This initiative, spearheaded by the "Safe and Brave Online by Technology and Security Transformation" working group, embodies a vision of a world where young minds harness the power of technology responsibly and with caution.

The aim of the campaign is to promote digital safety and awareness, enabling them to navigate the online digital world with caution & confidence. Students also shared their experiences & ideas highlighting the transformative potential of the digital world while emphasizing the importance of critical thinking, digital literacy, and responsible usage to mitigate potential risks and ethical implications.

Resources from the C20 working group were used to share insights, conduct interactive sessions, and engage in Q&A discussions. Instead of a regular lecture format, the event was characterized by multimedia presentations, real-world scenario simulations, and breakout sessions, which allowed for a more personalized and hands-on learning experience for students and faculty alike.

One of the students remarked, “I found the session to be very informative and engaging. I learned about the different types of online threats, such as cyberbullying, phishing, and malware. I also learned how to protect myself from these threats. I believe the Safe and Brave Online campaign is a valuable resource for students.”
