Our birth mother may allow us to sit on her lap for a couple of years, But Mother Earth allows us to tread on her our entire life” Amma's words inspired AYUDH Baneshwar to regain their inner connection with Nature.
On 'Amritavarsham 69', AYUDH Baneshwar gathered to plant saplings near baneshwar temple premises. Before starting the plantation, they had a discussion on how much Mother Nature has provided us, from offering fruit and shelter to purifying water and air for us and what they could do in gratitude to Nature...
"Planting trees today made us feel so good and special because this is what Amma is expecting from us as Birthday Gift on this special occasion. After planting, we feel so connected with Nature and we don’t ever harm nature in any way anymore, even as small as plucking a leaf from a tree. We feel so blessed that we could do this today, on Amma’s Birthday”, remarked AYUDH members. The AYUDHians made it a goal to continue educating the younger generation on tree planting and to help awaken their love for Nature.
