Self-Management Workshop at Ayudh Jaipur
University of Rajasthan hosted the AYUDH Self-Management Workshop at Jaipur organized by the coordinators from the National Coordination Committee of AYUDH, Amritapuri, Kerala. The selected youth from more than 10 eminent institutions of the state took part in the workshop at University of Rajasthan. The event saw wonderful participation and interactions of young minds.
The workshop aimed to give an insight to the youngsters about managing the body, mind and the intellect, all the good practices that empower the youth to stay calm and focused in the challenging moments, and how to inculcate the qualities through positive practices in life and how these qualities, make future leaders who serve for the wellbeing of the society.
Dr Asha Jain, Professor and Head of the Department of Chemistry welcomed the delegates and appreciated the participants for their enthusiasm to join the workshop.
The major attractions of the Workshop were inspiring talks, Q&A session, Meditation, Quiz, Singing for World Peace, Games and Environmental activity. Those who participated in the workshop also found remarkable exposure to leadership, self-empowerment, introduction to community service activities and Amrita’s humanitarian technology initiatives aligned with the SDG’s of the United Nations.
The participants learnt an array of service related values including positivity, cultivating genuine compassion, making sacrifices, serving with a smile, having concern for community and environment all have roots in Sanatana Dharma. After the session they said that, they experienced what true happiness and peace felt like, when they dived deep within during the meditation and overall the session was a contemplating experience.
“The workshop gave an insight to the participants about the true success and the right ways to march towards on the path of Dharma! They also learned the importance of having the ability to effectively manage the stress, emotions, thoughts etc. and the techniques to master the mind and to face challenges in life. We have a good team now and will surely continue with AYUDH events in Jaipur”, said Mr Kush Sharma from University of Rajasthan, who coordinate AYUDH activities in Jaipur.
“The Self-Management Workshop was a great learning experience. We are so eager to join AYUDH and learn more for our life. Thanks to the coordinators from Amritapuri for the wonderful session”, said Ms Vibha Agarwal from IIIM (International School of informatics and management), Jaipur.
“The overall experience was so insightful. It was a mind blowing session. We are happy to be part of this great event. The Youth of this generation, require all the qualities that were brought out by the activities conducted in the workshop. These qualities, make future leaders who serve for the wellbeing of the society.I was a shy person, Now I carry self-confidence after the program”, said Mr Praveen Meena from University of Rajasthan.
“AYUDH in all means gives youth the platform to learn and serve the society. We are so thankful for this opportunity. We hope to continue such programs in future”, remarked the participants

The participants registered with AYUDH and expressed their gratitude and said, they are extremely happy that, by associating with AYUDH, they get opportunities to learn for their life and serve the world!
