Youth Volunteers from Central Mumbai Participated in the AYUDH

Youth volunteers from Central Mumbai participated in the AYUDH Orientation Program. The event brought together the youth of Amrita Satsang Samiti, Dombivli and Central Suburbs of Mumbai who are eager to give their contribution for the betterment of society. In tandem with the vibrant participation of the youth, senior devotees of the Amrita Satsang Samiti actively contributed to sustaining the high spirits of the new AYUDH members. Participants from diverse walks of life, including students from various educational institutions & professionals, came together for the orientation program.

Amrita Satsang Samiti in Central Mumbai, known for its commitment to community welfare, regularly conducts Amma’s weekly bhajans and engages in social service activities such as food distributions for the underprivileged. Additionally, they conduct Baal Kendra sessions, providing a platform for children to learn values in the young age and integrate them into their lives. This multifaceted approach underscores the comprehensive efforts of the Satsang Samiti in fostering a holistic development environment for the Youth.

The event included Amma’s Ashtotharam, Amma's inspiration to millions for leading a life based on Sanatana Dharma values, Transformative Experiences of youth with Amma, Introduction to AYUDH, short videos and Q&A.

Participants were introduced to AYUDH Initiatives and projects. The newly enrolled members enthusiastically conveyed a keen interest in AYUDH. Their questions were notably focused on gaining insights into the global contributions of AYUDHians from different countries, all united in bringing a positive transformation in the world. Enthusiastic participants also shared their new project ideas considering the issues faced presently and looking forward to executing them.

Akshara Kanchan, BTech student from Model College, Mumbai said “We consider ourselves very fortunate to be members of AYUDH. Witnessing the impactful projects undertaken by other AYUDH chapters in India has left a strong impression on me, and I aspire to replicate the projects in our local community. I would also inspire my fellow friends to join me and join AYUDH, collectively making a positive difference in our society.”

Preeti Poojari, a devotee from Satsang Samiti remarked, “Amma's inspiration to millions for leading a life based on Sanatana Dharma values is incomparable. Her selfless contributions to mankind are beyond imagination. Within the Amrita Satsang Group, Amma's influence is profound, and the children feel a special connection to Amma's Love. We are very happy that the children who were Balakendra members of Amrita Satsang Samiti once, are getting this great opportunity to join AYUDH now, to learn Amma’s teachings and Love & Serve the world.”
