Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

In celebration of World Environment Day 2024, AYUDH Kolkata organized a recycling workshop and distributed saplings to the public at Rampur Quarter, encouraging the community to actively contribute to a greener future. These initiatives were designed to raise awareness about the importance of recycling and to promote sustainable practices that align with the global mission of environmental conservation.

Anwesha Mukherjee, Coordinator of AYUDH Kolkata, expressed her enthusiasm: "The Environment Day event was awesome. I learned practical ways to recycle paper by making paper bags and adopting eco-friendly habits. This deepened my understanding of the importance of loving nature, as nature sustains us. While distributing the saplings, I had the opportunity to share Amma's valuable teachings on protecting Mother Nature. The event enriched our knowledge of environmental stewardship and inspired us to maintain a strong, active connection with nature."

AYUDH Kolkata's efforts reflect Amma's teachings on environmental conservation, as she often emphasizes, "Nature is our mother. Without her grace, we cannot live for even a second. Protecting her is our foremost duty."
