Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

AYUDH members from Kolkata embarked on a soul-stirring journey to Amma’s Ashram at Amritapuri, a sacred place where Spirituality, Nature, Wisdom, and Love converge seamlessly. The trip began with an awe-inspiring tour of Amrita University’s Amritapuri Campus, located across the tranquil backwaters from the ashram. Witnessing the harmonious blend of modern education and spiritual ethos left a profound impact on the hearts of the visitors.

Evenings at the ashram were filled with peaceful programs, including meditation, satsang, and soul-stirring bhajans, rejuvenating everyone’s spirit. A meeting with Swami Amritaswarupananda Puri, President of AYUDH Global, deepened the understanding of Amma’s teachings and the mission of AYUDH, further inspiring the group.

One of the most memorable moments was a visit to the mesmerizing Rudraksha garden, where nature’s untouched beauty was on full display. The natural growth of the plants, free from human interference, demonstrated the intrinsic beauty of nature when allowed to flourish organically.

AYUDHians also participated in seva across various sections of the ashram, contributing to the ashram’s activities and experiencing the joy of selfless service. Additionally, an insightful presentation on Amma’s global humanitarian initiative, ‘Embracing the World,’ left a lasting impression on the members.

However, the pinnacle of the journey was receiving darshan from Amma. This sacred moment of connecting with the divine filled the AYUDHians with a profound sense of unconditional love, acceptance, and spiritual upliftment—an experience that words can barely capture.

This visit to Amritapuri has left an indelible mark on the hearts of AYUDHians, reminding them of the profound beauty of spirituality, nature, and compassionate living, and inspiring them to carry Amma’s message of love and service into their daily lives.
