Youth volunteers Conducted AYUDH Orientation Program
Youth volunteers from Andheri, Mumbai attended AYUDH Orientation Program. The senior devotees of Amrita Satsang Samiti, Andheri East, Western Suburbs, Mumbai invited the vibrant youth who are associated with the Samiti and are eager to join AYUDH. The enthusiastic involvement of the youth was matched by the active support of senior devotees of the Amrita Satsang Samiti, Andheri, ensuring the sustained energy of the new AYUDH members aiming to bring a change in the society.
Participants received an introduction to AYUDH and expressed a strong interest in learning about the diverse AYUDH projects executed across the world. They were particularly eager to understand how thousands of AYUDHians worldwide contribute to removing the sorrows of people and bringing positive changes in their lives.
Amma says “Today’s youth are the pillars of tomorrow’s world. The young have the potential to make great change in the world. We should channel their energy towards a good cause."
The event encompassed Ma Om Meditation, a simple yet powerful meditation technique to promote stress management, good health and well-being among today’s youth. Participants actively engaged in sharing their ideas and thoughts on undertaking projects with social commitment including Green initiatives.
Vrishti Naik from Holy Cross Convent School, Mira Road, Mumbai said “Attending the AYUDH Orientation was a great experience as we came to know about Amma's message for youth about the importance of learning Sanatana Dharma and living it, helping others and prioritizing the need of the unprivileged . Just an orientation made me realise the purpose of life and it would surely be a great experience to be an AYUDHian”.
Samarth Uchil, an Architect from P. G. Patki Architects Company, Mumbai said, “I am really looking forward to working in AYUDHIndia projects. I am very much interested in establishing a dedicated group within the western suburbs. Drawing inspiration from successful projects such as ayudhaswas, haritamritam, (https://www.ayudh.in/project/haritamritam), Vishuthaineetam (https://amritaworld.org/.../vishuthaineettam-turning.../) etc., our group will aim to execute impactful initiatives, including educational endeavours for underprivileged communities and more.”
Through positive engagement, these young individuals aspire to create a significant impact on the community, illustrating a collective dedication to social responsibility and collaborative progress.
