Ayudh - Awaken Youth; Unite for Dharma

Bhavan's Gangabux Kanoria Vidyamandir, Salt Lake City, Kolkata, West Bengal, participated in the 999 Challenge, an initiative of the C20 working group, that stands as a strong monument to their unshakable dedication to personal growth and holistic development. The event was organized by AYUDH, the international Youth Movement of Mata Amaritanandamayi Math.

The children enthusiastically participated in challenge over the period of nine days. They not only accomplished 9 rounds of energizing Surya Namaskar, but they also meditated for 9 minutes every day for world peace. The students experienced an increase in physical fitness after continuous practice of Surya Namaskar, finding more physical strength and flexibility. Their daily meditation sessions, on the other hand, provided a nurturing foundation for mental well-being, empowering effective stress management, heightened attention, and a clearer perspective.

The 999 Challenge has been nothing short of inspirational, yielding real effects such as increased fitness, increased mental clarity, instilled discipline, and set them on a path to overall well-being. This experience has instilled in the children the vital abilities of accepting regularity and routine, both of which are indispensable companions on the path of life.
