Vishuthaineettam was organized under the auspices of the AYUDH Angadipuram unit.
"Amma in my Life" - AYUDH virtual event in connection with 'Amritavarsham 67' began with AYUDHians sharing their transformative experiences with Amma.
As their Birthday gift to Amma, AYUDHians spent time making hand crafted thank you cards for front-line corona warriors in acknowledgement of their selfless care and service during this difficult time.
They also made cards for their neighbours with Amma's message to stay optimistic during this pandemic when depression and suicide rates have gone up.
“We are extremely proud of you, Lucky to have an AYUDHian like you in our team who practice Amma’s teachings of selflessness and sacrifice”,said AYUDHians on the ongoing hectic COVID works of Dr. Anushree, coordinator of AYUDH Ahmedabad chapter.
‘Spread a Smile’ – on Diwali day, AYUDHians shared their experiences of gift giving to those who struggle to make ends meet in their society / neighbourhood.
Some of them went to the Covid-free villages on behalf of AYUDH Team and gave the villagers gifts to make their Diwali memorable where as others gifted their maids/ watchman in their society.
Those who participated in the virtual session said that, as Amma’s children, Spreading Smile is not just for one day or during any special occasions, for AYUDHians, ‘Giving’ has to become part and parcel of our life.
Our resilient AYUDHian has been doing inspiring &heart warming acts during this tough time of COVID-19 outbreak. We believe we should share this with all of you. During this COVID time, Kush Sharma-AYUDH coordinator, Jaipur has been busy with his seva right from DAY1 of the lockdown period till date. He has responded by spreading kindness in the form of getting groceries for the elderly who cannot shop for themselves, providing civilian assistance to the local policemen.
AYUDH Virtual Workshop on Calligraphy was organized by AYUDH Pune in connection with the World Youth Skills Day 2020.
The online workshop was conducted by Prasida, a digital artist from Singapore. 53 eager Ayudhians from Ahmedabad, Kolkata, Mumbai and Pune participated in the engaging session. Prasida taught the Ayudhians basic calligraphy skills. They had fun exploring the new skill. Each participant then chose an Amma quote dearest to their heart and wrote it using calligraphy.
‘Go Climate Neutral’- Today, on World Energy Conservation Day, a workshop on Responsible Energy Consumption was organized. AYUDHians invited Mr Trilochan Thorsten Brehm from Germany who is an expert in climate and sustainability management. Mr Thorsten was inspired by Amma’s Life and Mission and returned to India to serve the humanity & nature. The workshop upskilled AYUDHians judicious ways to use resources and prevent energy wastage; thereby exercising responsible energy consumption on individual and community levels.
On Gita Jayanti 2020, Online Quiz on Bhagavad Gita was conducted for AYUDHians. It was a great opportunity for AYUDHians to learn life lessons from Gita. The quiz focused on how the timeless wisdom of Bhagavad Gita can be put into application in the real-life situations of the youth.
